Advance Copy of My Book Now Available!

Finally. The process is near its very end. After two and a half years of writing, reading, editing, and revising my upcoming book, Little Big Steps – A Life-Changing Injury and the Inspirational Journey to Overcome the Odds, is just weeks away from its publish!

I have to credit all of you, readers of my blog and supporters of my recovery, for giving me the inspiration and motivation to take on this project. If it weren’t for all the feedback and interest that I received about some of my early blog posts and the stories I shared, I would not have known to dig into these stories, expand and explore the depth in each of them, and understand that I could actually be capable to write a book.

But here I am, a couple years later and with a story that I think (and hope!) will be interesting to all people, not just those dealing with a traumatic or life-changing event or adversity in their lives. Although the story of my injury and ensuing recovery is very unique to me, in writing this book I have selected the moments, perspectives, and experiences from my journey that are likely the most informative and relevant to readers.

As I put on the finishing touches and finalize the very last details before printing, I have an opportunity for any of you that are interested and willing to make a deal with me:

I will send you a free advance electronic copy of the book if you promise to read it within 2-3 weeks and write a review!

It’s not a long book (approx 175 pages) but I know this isn’t realistic for everyone. Please don’t feel compelled or ask to do it if you don’t have time, but if you can and are interested in getting the sneak preview, I will happily send you a copy. (For you audiobook people, there’s a chance I can have the audio version ready as well, but stay tuned for updates on that).

Check out the book info on my site as well as the Facebook page where I’ll be posting regular updates and info. Other than announcing the official upcoming publish, I won’t be doing much book promotion through this blog—I like to keep it reserved for posting about my recovery—so follow and like my FB page, keep your eye out on your favorite online book retailer, or contact me for more details.

And thank you in advance for any volunteers for reading and reviewing. I’m SO excited to finally get this thing out there!

  2. Nice work sir. Have you got an amazon page set up yet for the book? Also I can mail out my list about this. I would suggest maybe making it free for one day only just before your launch in ebook. That way you ask early reviewers to download a copy and then leave a review. That way it becomes a verified purchase and carries much more weight. Very important. Also look at creating a thunderclap campaign and also list with as many book promo sites as you can with a discounted ebook price for launch, usually .99. This is very important also.
